Mother's Day

Well, I finally was able to give Bridgett something. I made her a hat for Mother's Day. I had bought two skeins of Blue Sky Alpaca when I was in San Diego, so I used the second skein on the exact same hat that I made for Michelle.She seemed to love the hat and was wearing it later that day. I think that since I've made two of the same exact hat for other people, the next beret I make will be for me and it will need to be a different pattern.

I was also able to finish my first shawl:

It seems a bit small after blocking so I may reblocking and try to get a few more inches out of it. The color is beautiful though. It's this gorgeous rose color. Here's a close up of the pattern itself:
